August Troop (Biking) Campout

We will be heading out to the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains to Mountain Bike and Trail Bike at Carvins Cove (we will be camping at Cave Mountain Lake National Park > 811 Cave Mountain Lake Road, Natural Bridge, VA). We will head out on Friday evening (meet at the Church at 445pm) and setup camp. Then we will ride on Saturday and stop by a local swimming hole to wash off and fish at the end of the day, before cooking a camp dinner and enjoying the campfire. We will stop by Natural Bride State Park on Sunday morning and be back to the Church around 1pm – 2pm.
If you need a bike please connect with Mr. Chesley (at a meeting or via cell at 202 – 579 – 7444). We will conduct a bike safety and skills session before biking on Saturday – and then split the group into smaller buddy groups based on skill level. Carvins Cove has over 30 miles of trails with lots of different options for each skill level.
Meet at Church of the Good Shepherd at 4:45 PM on Friday, September 5. Bring a bag dinner for the drive out to camp. 
Return ETA on Sunday is, September 7, between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
